Résumé :
Dans ce papier, on expose les résultats des tests expérimentaux d’un prototype de distillateur solaire constitué d’un chauffe-eau solaire de type capteur-stockeur relié à un compartiment de distillation fonctionnant selon le principe du hot-box en chapelle. Les tests ont été effectués à Adrar qui est située au Sahara d’Algérie. L’étude démontre la faisabilité de ce genre de système et montre une nette amélioration des performances du distillateur solaire de type hot-box.

Abstract :
In this paper, we expose the results of the experimental tests of a solar still prototype consisted of a collector cum storage solar water-heater connected to a hot-box solar still. The tests were carried out at Adrar which is located at the Algerian Sahara. The study proves the feasibility of this kind of system and show a clear improvement on the performances of the simple hot-box solar still.
